So what do I look for?
The short answer to this is talent.
Primarily it is writing talent. This in itself is highly elusive, and only a small proportion of applicants really demonstrate real, top quality writing talent in the tests. And this is one reason why our small team is still small.
In addition to that (already) elusive writing talent, any would-be applicant also needs to get around another hurdle; namely the pretty daunting fact that while we are primarily looking for highly talented writers, writing talent alone isn’t enough!
