It should be kept brief to have the greatest impact; it is not an invitation to wax eloquent about all your virtues. Try to recall from the job specification, advertisement or even something that the interviewer has shown interest in that you can interpret as being most important to the interviewer. Think of your key competencies and achievements possibly one or two of the most relevant. It's not necessary to go into masses of detail about the jobs required skills and attributes.
