The Book Cover

One advantage of going with a big publisher is that they have a team of professional designers to design book covers.

As a creative type I do like to create graphic designs using special software. However, I must admit I was absolutely delighted with the cover that Pearson’s design team created. Creating something bold and simple is always easier said than done, and the natural temptation is frequently to overdo and overcomplicate things. However, their design was simple, bold, and to my mind appealing and powerful. For me at least, it fits in with the whole ethos of the book, which makes it all the more fitting.
